Shawn is a Senior Vice President at HouseMax Funding, LLC. Over the past two decades, Shawn has built an impressive resume of accomplishments in the hospitality and travel industry. He was a key contributor on a leadership team that grew an experiential travel company from 14 locations in 2010 to more than 200 locations across six continents by 2024. A veteran of two private equity transactions, Shawn is as comfortable in the boardroom as he is in the trenches with his teams and customers.

Brian is a Senior Vice President at HouseMax Funding, where he leads capital management and financial reporting. A longtime Central Texas resident, he brings a strong background in accounting and entrepreneurship, having previously worked as an auditor for Texas Health and Human Services and founded a local financial advisory firm. Brian played collegiate baseball at Lubbock Christian University, where he graduated at the top of his business class. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and hunting with his brothers.

Chase is Vice President at HouseMax Funding, LLC with over 15 years of experience in mortgage operations and asset management, specializing in building scalable processes and high-performing teams. Prior to joining HouseMax, he led operations at AlphaFlow, a fintech capital provider, and spent four years at Kiavi, where he built and managed an inhouse Servicing and Asset Management team overseeing more than $1B in assets. He has also held leadership roles at Nationstar Mortgage and Conventus.

Aaron graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and began his career at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, where he advanced from engineer to engineering manager. He later joined ESP Spares, helping grow the company from $2.5M to over $10M in annual revenue before becoming Chief Revenue Officer.

In 2024, Aaron joined HouseMax Funding and quickly transitioned from Account Executive to Director of Operations. With 18 years of experience in engineering, operations, and sales, he focuses on building efficient, borrower-focused processes that support scalability and long-term client relationships.

James Ferguson, Vice President of Sales at HouseMax Funding, has helped drive the company’s growth since its early days. He leads sales strategy and execution with a focus on scalable processes, strong client relationships, and consistent performance. He previously spent ten years in the automotive industry, developing a results-driven approach to sales and customer experience that carries into his work today. A Washington State University graduate, James values family, cars, and building something lasting.

Alma Rodriguez serves as the Vice President of Underwriting at HouseMax Funding, LLC, bringing over 26 years of specialized experience in lending, asset management, and real estate. A veteran of complex market cycles, Alma is recognized for her ability to establish institutional-grade processes that maximize capital recapture and mitigate risk. Her career is anchored by significant leadership roles, including managing a portfolio of 1,500+ "fix and flip" assets and directing a foreclosure brokerage operation for major institutions like Fannie Mae and Wells Fargo during the Global Financial Crisis. Alma’s expertise in building scalable, risk-adjusted frameworks continues to drive superior returns for investors and lenders alike.

Aubrey is a top-producing real estate lender at HouseMax Funding and was recognized as a Top Texas Originator and the #4 Originator in the Nation by Scotsman Guide. A graduate of the University of Akron, she earned her Biomedical Engineering degree Summa Cum Laude before transitioning into real estate finance.

Last year alone, Aubrey closed 546 loans and continues to stay actively involved in real estate investing, with three fix-and-flip projects currently underway. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her younger sister and her three cats.

As Vice President of Lending at HouseMax Funding, Kaleb Provence has built a reputation for performance and leadership. Since joining in 2019, he has originated over $500 million in loans—setting the company record—while maintaining a strong focus on client relationships. During his time in management from 2022 to 2024, he played a key role in developing and mentoring top-producing loan officers. Kaleb earned his degree in Business Administration from Harding University and is passionate about helping clients and teammates succeed.

Landon Ashby is the Vice President of Lending and Sales Development at HouseMax Funding, where he leads the internal account executive team while actively originating loans. A 2020 graduate of Arkansas State University with a degree in Economics, Landon began his career with HouseMax in July 2021, relocating from Central Arkansas to Austin, Texas. He has quickly established himself as a key contributor to the company’s growth through his leadership and production. Outside of work, Landon enjoys spending time with his family, as well as playing golf, fishing, and hunting.
